So, I thought I was team white dial. But, the video on your wrist is making think otherwise.

A G-Shock watch can get dropped from a flying helicopter and be ok, but youve got them in a protective pelican type case. Lol i think you can just tosse em in a paper bag and they'll be fine. That said, 2 of mine are currently, safely tucked away in a watch box. The 3rd is in my wrist. Nice vid. I too love a g-shock.

Great video, back to the good stuff! TBH I have an obsession where I prefer watches to have at least a date function so always overlooked the moon watch. Working in logistics I’m always dealing with dates/ETAs etc and I love the comfort & reassurance that today is indeed the date I think it is with a quick glance at that mechanical piece on my wrist. Having said that, the Speedmaster is on par with the Submariner as one of THE most iconic designed watch dials ever made and this video is putting me down a rabbit hole lol. I have a speedy mk40 (cream dial with a date), and it just isn’t the same. Shame there is not a hesalite sandwich option! Not like the underside is going to get scratched.

I think your opinion is right on par! Funny you mention Panerai. Just last week I was telling my girlfriend how Panerai is an awesome watch with rich history but I still wouldn’t buy one since nowadays they greatly overprice the watch because of the story, not the watch.

I was in my local AD to put my Navitimer in for service. I had a look at an Aqua Terra Worldtime (steel & dark blue). Meant to also have a look at a Speedmaster but forgot. I'll have a look next time. For me, if after I try them, I decide to get one, it's going to be a choice out of three Speedmasters: black sapphire sandwich 3861, white sapphire sandwich 3861 or bite the bullet and put in an order for a 321 Ed White. Haven't decided yet. Also complicated by that I have two planned purchases before then. One is a Glasutte Original SeaQ Panodate Bicolor. After that is the aforementioned Aqua Terra Worldtime. So in a couple of years, only after those two will I be looking at either a Speedmaster or an Explorer 40.

White dial is SICK. It's beautiful. The black dial is classic. Can't go wrong!

I really like Omega (I own one), but until people stop justifying them by comparing them to the crown, they will always be perceived as a cheaper crown alternative. Nobody is cross shopping a SS Speedmaster and Daytona. They are fundamentally different watches and live different stratospheres of pricing and availability. People who can get a SS Daytona are not deciding if they should get a Speedmaster instead…they just buy both.

I got mine with all the old school trimmings which is closer to the original Moon watch. The hand winding. Engraving on the back case. The Big Box edition 😊

Just love my dive bezels! I'm a scuba diver and wear a trusty Citizen NY0040 for my dives - on a extra long NATO of course. Diving computers usualy only track the time for the entire dive (at least my does) and I like to track my bottom time seperatly. And it is just so cool, to look down at the watch during the day and remember that time when you looked at that very watch down at a wrack at 38m depth. Memories make out watches personal. I'm also a faciliator in my daily live and a countdown bezel (Wolbrook Skindiver in my case) is super usefull for tracking time to the next step in stile. Btw, just love your videos Adrian - keep going!

That's a tough call Adrian!!!! I have the Black Sapphire sandwich version, which I love! I also have the white dial Seamaster, like you, in fact I think it's your 'fault' that I bought mine, after seeing yours! So, I like white dial watches of late, but the black is THE Speedmaster, and you have a white SMP300 anyway, so maybe the black one? I have to say that the manual wind does become a chore after a while 😂 - First world problems!!!

A "Fake" whisky that tastes identical to a "Real" whisky the only difference is the label, and what you paid for it Only downside to a fake watch, no good to pass down and difficult if not impossible to service throw away item.

Great video. I love my pilot chronograph 41, everything about it is class. Love the idea that they make everything from scratch, that was one of the reasons why I choose this brand. Cant understand why more ppl don’t wear them….oh yeah, the price 😮 lol

I wanted the white dial but it feels too small for me as the bezel in black gives it a reduction in the appearance even though its the same size.

I’m team black dial sapphire and am wearing my currently. I did upgrade to the new clasp which makes a world of difference. I’m not a fan of hesalite because it scratches easily. I also feel the small changes on the sapphire watches do make the watch much more premium. I do like the applied indices on the white dial and wish my black dial had the same.

Have both Bond and Real Bomd Omegas...2531.89 being my ultimate dream watch, I take care of it. 2535.80 is a beater, daily tank, I wear it all the time, super accurate, strong, heavy and bulky. It is also a mix of old and modern, from old, it has vawe dial, alu bezel and looks, but from modern it has co-axial, ceramic mat dial so less shiny than 2531.80, and has a back display cover. OG Bond I keep on bracelet, but this 2535.80 is on rubber band 90% of the time.

Team white dial. I have a few watches and most have black dials. But in this instance, the white speed is stunning. With a white rolex explorer (RIP) & your white seamaster 300m, you know you are too Adrian.

Bear in mind that the watch was approved by NASA with hesalight and not sapphire. Reason is the shattering, fragments shattering in space can be incredibly dangerous due to it travelling in vacuum, so it can puncture the suit for example. Also, hesalight gives a nice distortion to the dial when viewed from different angles in different lighting and no ‘milky’ ring around the entire dial as seen on the sapphire
